Experience

Marc Decramer is Professor and Vice-Dean in the Faculty of Medicine, Chief of the Respiratory Division and Chief of the Pneumonology Laboratory, and Director of the Respiratory Rehabilitation Division at the University Hospitals at the Catholic University of Leuven. He qualified at the Catholic University of Leuven and did his postgraduate training in Leuven and Montréal, Canada.

Professor Decramer served on many national and international committees, and is a former President of the Belgian Pneumology Association. He was also the Editor of the European Respiratory Journal from 1999 to 2002. He currently serves on the Program Committee of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) Respiratory Structure and Function Assembly and is a member of the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Medicine.
